I didnt say it was ALL anyone was complaining about NOR did I say it was just this thread. I just said it was what players are complaining about. That does not mean it was the only thing.

2 upvotes!? well, [censored] I retract my statement, instead of getting better at timing and hitting the straightest pitch in the game, you should complain about it on here until they turn this game into beer league softball, but underhand slow pitch might still be to fast for you.

I played over 1000 games last year and was about 25 games over 500. So many many games at all star. Sorry but you dont know what your talking about

players are complaining about adjusting to the timing window or the timing window not being accurate, not about pitch speeds, but those two upvotes have you all filled with [censored] and vinegar, so you know, forget about getting better, complain on here so that people that are actually decent at this game have to play at your level.

I sure thought so too. Nolan Ryan was great on allstar for a minute there until people adjusted.

Before 1.4 I was 14-6 and after am 8-12. Half the losses were due to the window timing for fastballs. At least half my wins were games I just got lucky and ran into one thrown down the middle and won 1-0 or 2-1.

When SDS listen to people like the OP, we get the $hitshow of the last couple of years.
If you are only winning half your games, there's a reason for it. If the fastball is too fast for you, good.
I'm not elite and have never made WS. There is a reason for that. I need to git gud.
OP might need to readjust his own expectations and put his abilities into perspective.

I dont expect to get to ws. I'm very happy to make championship. I think I did 4 times last year. But at least I was competitive and felt like I could halfway get the fastball and adjust to the breaking ball but now it's either sell out for the fastball or guess offspeed and have little to no chance. Yes theres a reason for that... it's because they changed the mechanics of the game. My skill is at least as good as last year but that reaction window should be on hall of fame not all star. All star is the 3rd of five tiers. Middle of the road. Average. So slightly above average players should be able to compete on that level. And that is not how it is right now.

Did you ever stop to think for some of that first 14-6 run you were playing on veteran? Or you’re playing better players now? Did that cross your mind at all?

The speeds are spot on now. Dont mean to be cliché but u just have to get better. Like others said... look fastball and adjust off speed.
