I agree with you. I think the biggest issue is players with poor bunt ratings putting down perfect bunts. Needs to be more variety regarding very hard bunts, foul balls, pop-ups and misses. Right now it seems like perfect bunts all the time which should be rare on people with not so good bunt ratings.

I know this is a video game, but as a baseball coach, the speed of the runner on 3rd is irrelevant in a true squeeze bunt. He's stealing on the pitch so if the batter gets the bunt down anywhere that isn't quite literally an arms reach from the catcher, even Jacob Stallings is scoring. So you're reaching on the base runner speed argument, however...
The rest of your post is extremely fair. And I say that as an offline player who bunts in conquest games semi frequently (I play against the CPU like I would in real life--and no I'm not ashamed of that)

I'm afraid to even try to bunt because I feel like every time I do, with very few exceptions, it's either popped up or a laser beam right to the 1B or 3B. Where is the magic button that makes bunts perfect every time?
