Beast of a hitter

Just played a dude that I could not get out for the first 4 innings, posted up a 10 spot vs my 1.
I figured out how to get him out after that he only put up two more but Jesus he was on everything for those first 4 innings, out of the zone in the zone didn't matter he put it in play and usually over the wall.
Not sure how you figure a guy out like that without just getting blasted and hoping you can catch up, which I'm not a great hitter usually I rely on my pitching to keep me in and win games.
Could have been that I was using Paralta for the first time and I was not impressed, I locked him in so he'll get a few more go's but no way is he worth the stubs.
jacko2145 you are a hell of player especially being on xbox and what I'm guessing is your first year.

Some guys are just really good at the game. Also him playing on Xbox doesn't have to mean he's a first year player, he could've simply switched to Xbox since the game is available for Xbox now.

True

Those guys are the biggest mystery to me. I feel like I am getting better and competing with people better than me...then I run into someone who can hit anything...in the zone or out of the zone. I get it if they are patient and only wait for things in the zone, but it is the guys who swing at every pitch and get single after single that have me baffled.

Really makes me wonder if it's because of them possibly using computer monitors with faster refresh rates etc.

I just started using a monitor this year and it improved my hitting leaps and strides but this guy wasn't doing what he did just because of a monitor, his timing and patience was his only weakness his PCI placement was flawless on almost every pitch but he sat way to hard on the fastball and just could not hit the changeup low or the slider outside, took me a while to figure out I had to pitch him backwards with all breaking stuff and then pepper a fastball here and there to keep him honest but those first 4 innings were why I lost still beat my *ss lol.
