Roster update useable in Franchise?

I might be missing something here… wanted to start up a franchise using the most current roster update. I thought this one had Torkelson in it. Launched franchise, selected “use current rosters” and he’s not in there. Went back to the home page to search for players and I see him there. Is the latest roster update not useable in franchise? Am I loading the roster incorrectly? Thanks in advance for the insight!

Make sure you load the roster he is on first.

Current roster only has players on the 40 man roster. go to the roster vault to find the latest roster.

Where is the roster vault

If you go to the roster vault you will find rosters made by people in the community.
If you want the SDS roster updates you need to: go to settings, go to file management, go to load, choose rosters, choose live rosters, and then save roster
And then when you start your new franchise choose load saved roster and choose the file you just saved
