I don't know, but baserunning has been very odd to say the least. Just lost a game because the base runners randomly decided to stop and go back to the original base while I'm holding L1. I don't know if it's just me, but does anyone know why this is happening?

I have seen it happen for and against me several times. I even saw a YouTuber playing RS encounter the glitch.

I've had some screwy issues with baserunners too. Cost me many runs. I thought maybe it was all me. Glad it's not just me.
