because you just said people don't need it to play competitively, but for what i mentioned people do
Right. All I meant was I feel like playing on a ps5, with a good wired connection, and a 4k led TV should be more than sufficient equipment to not have to deal with input lag and warped pitch speeds.
Obviously a monitor is an advantage, but this is the only game I've played where I feel like it's a necessity. That's all.

Yeah I did!! I ordered NFL 2k5 on ebay for the original Xbox last year and still play it. Such a good game!
That and I still play ncaa14 on the old 360.

I have Stockholm syndrome with madden lol I'd happily stay on MLB fulltime but it just doesn't juice me up enough. Madden, as loathsome as it is, gets the juices flowing more than MLB does.
Both games serve a nice purpose in giving me a break from the other. I really only have time for 1 game at a time.

I agree with all except the pitch speeds. I am 35, not the best and I can turn on fastballs pretty easily. So I don't think that's an issue with the game most likely just YOUR reflexes. Or possibly the screen and internet you use.
No no no. Pitch speeds need to be turned DOWN. Plus the ball visibility needs to be tweaked. There's time where you literally can't see the the ball because it's so tiny.

TAGS TAGS TAGS!!! Please do some work on Tagging base runners out! Sick of watching 2nd basemen and catchers STARE at runners sliding into bases without applying or attempting a DARN TAG!
Also, never (or as rare as a cycle) does a player score or able to score on a strikeout you have to throw to first to complete! Not talking about a ball that gets away from catcher. -

I really hope they don't but it's pretty likely at this point. IMO if they just reskinned NCAA 14 with current rosters the game would do very well.

That's somewhat my hope for the franchise as well. If they just try not to make it like Madden in any way, it will be a good start.

I'm not going to buy it this year for the first time in over 20 years. They don't even try to improve the game anymore.

I already use strike zone. The size of the ball is way smaller in this game compared to last year, The ball is also more dull. I'm not talking about hitting on veteran difficulty here. I'm talking legend difficulty.
