Thats rough man. I would be mad too. All I can thing is that its some sort of lag or connection issue where maybe your opponent saw something different on his screen and you just got a glitched animation. Either way its annoying for sure for it to happen in RS. I don't get bothered in events but RS that can really set you back.

It happens quite a bit when someone steals home on a failed squeeze attempt. A lot of times the catcher freezes and doesn't move or tag. Sometimes hitting the x button makes him move but not always.
Tagging in general is terrible in this game. Sorry OP I feel your pain

Happened to me in BR. The guy set it up like he knew it would happen. Ball beat the runner by 60 feet.

When everyone was saying oh this game is going to be great I said it was going to be 20 remastered. Yes we can pitch, but hitting is just like 20, defensive urgency is non existent. Throw is the horrendous servers for 2 months, R2 bs and contact swing which isn’t fixed, the game is not fun.

We've been posting this issue for a while. Unfortunately, it's been a problem that continued from last year's MLB20 version. Crossing fingers for some resolution in next year's MLB22.

We've been posting this issue for a while. Unfortunately, it's been a problem that continued from last year's MLB20 version. Crossing fingers for some resolution in next year's MLB22.
And to your point, a couple examples:
Yup the exact thing happened in that first clip. I even ran towards him like a pickle situation he slid and nothing happened.
