Check your event lineup, it creates one for you even if you didn't enter, take him out of it.

Unless you are referring to using two cards of the same player, in which case you cannot do that. So if you are trying to use batter Ohtani and pitcher Ohtani, you cannot

Figure out which lineup you have that player in and remove him. I usually have a guy on my bench that I forgot about and that's where he is hiding. I do not play online, so I do not know if BR and the other online stuff matters!
