The Agent is a waste of time. Fix it or nix it.

I am now starting my second full year in AAA ball and I have still not heard from my agent. I want to start pitching more than once every few weeks but I can't do anything about it because The Show has decided to not make anything work in a functional way. How do they think this makes the game any fun for people. You can't make any changes without an agent that calls you once every 2 years and then doesn't do the things you asked him to do. Why did they ever change from what they did for years where you could just go to your manager and ask whenever you want. It makes no sense.
