it shouldn’t take 2 months to get your ticket resolved
In my opinion, the fact that SDS will resolve it at all is a fact that people should be very happy about, even if it takes months to get it done.
These people, at least in most cases, made a preventable mistake. A mistake that SDS has already tried to minimize by adding either NEW or x1 to the corner of each card. How much hand holding does SDS need to do to protect players from themselves?

Why not have TA paths be like event paths? Meaning instead of getting 5 choice packs during your TA paths you get 5 cards. At 40pts you get ta3 player 1, at 50 you get player 2, so on and so forth until you reach the last/best player of that division. It would also be nice because it would mean you would have to grind a little to get the best cards in each division.
To many people seem to be rushing through and selecting duplicates whether by game flaw or by not paying attention. It ridiculous to be locked out of a collection by mistake, and I get it
For the record I have never selected a duplicate. The game has never shown me that a card is new when It should say x1.
Why ? you may only want one certain player from that division and wouldn't get it til a certain number doing it your way. I think they should just open up exchanges and make it easier. They should put an exchange set for mistakes like you are describing too.

Everyone blaming the folks picking duplicate cards need to chill out. SDS put out a flawed process and mistakes happen. No need to blame us. SDS can fix this in a day if they wanted through exchanging them. Maybe in the next update? I bet they could close out 20,000 tickets with that simple change.

So how do you prevent a user from using the card in question, earning the 5 TA points, then exchanging it for another, earning the 5 TA points, then exchanging it for another...
There's even a "Are you sure you want to make this selection?" warning message before you lock it in. Sorry to say, these users have no one to blame but themselves.

Literally, shut up. All of you people. Do you not understand mistakes happen in life? Nothing is perfect so get off your high horse because you think you're god or something. SDS can correct this, like I said, to help those that made this mistake. Simple as that.
Also, who cares if someone can exchange a TA card within it's own division. It won't do anything since they're non-sellable and once the TA is done, they will have all the cards and they can no longer exchange. You people are so dense sometimes.

First question.. How is their process flawed? You are presented with 5 cards, each one having an indicator of whether you already own it or not. Could they do more? Maybe, but the vast, overwhelming majority of the players have apparently navigated the current system without issue.

You, and apparently others, made the mistake so who else should we blame. There are a lot of valid criticisms that can be leveled at SDS and their design choices, but I don't think them not implementing a hand holding routine to protect people from their own mistakes is one of them.

Sorry, but I'm not really going to go back and forth with you. I admitted I messed up, like everyone else has. SDS just needs to make a change to help those of us that need it. Simple as that. That's their job when it comes to the customer service aspect of the game...

The people that made the mistake can be big dumb idiots (mostly joking) and SDS can need to make a fix to help em out. The two don't have to be mutually exclusive. I do wonder what motivation SDS would have for doing it the way they did when you need each card for a collection. If it was just any 30 2021 All Star cards needed then sure allow the community to pick guys twice (especially if they are expected to be sellable later in the year or something). But if you need 30 specific cards, then it does seem kinda dumb to have done it this way unless they are just sitting there laughing at people picking dupes for some unknown reason.

I am not saying that players should not get the issue resolved, nor am I saying that if it is possible that SDS should not find a way to prevent it.
The only thing that kind of gets on my nerves is that many of those who made the mistake blame SDS instead of owning up to it.
"Look, I admit that I was not paying close enough attention and I made a mistake choosing the same card twice. It would be great if SDS could remedy that for me".
But it seems like many who have done it don't want to be accountable for their own mistakes, they just blame SDS.
Don't mind me though, I am just a crotchety old man at this point.

I’ve made mistakes of selling a card with sell order as opposed to listing it, that’s my fault. I went robotic and misclicked. Is that SDS fault? No, it’s my own.
I have never picked a duplicate unintentionally. I don’t get why you would speed through a card selection like you’re Joey Chestnut eating a hot dog.
