This is either a bug or someone does not know the rules of baseball

Scenario: Runner on first, batter hits ball to first baseman who fields the ball, steps on first base and throws to second. The runner going to first is called out while the runner at second is called safe (I guess because no tag was made). THIS IS A FORCE OUT ANYWAY YOU FIELD IT! RUNNER AT SECOND SHOULD BE CALLED OUT WITHOUT A TAG!
This has cost me two games already!!!!

Noooo.....the out at first before the throw cancels the force out at 2nd therefore a tag must be made

I don't think that's correct, if you step on 1B for the force out that means the runner who's going to second base is no longer eligible for a force out. Because there is no runner going to 1B anymore. So definitely needs a tag on 2B.

No, that is a force out. First base was occupied. If what your saying is the case, if I threw to second base first, I’d have to tag him also. You are wrong. This is a force out!

A force out for the batter who is running to first base, yes. But the man on first base is now a free runner if the force out was applied before he reached second base.

What you should have done is not step on first base but throw it to second base immediately, then the force out would've been applied and you could've possibly even turned a double play.

No, I’m pretty sure that is a force out. First base was occupied. If what your saying is the case, if I threw to second base first, I’d have to tag him also. This is a force out!
Also, the second time this happened I had plenty of time for the tag and tried to and the SS would not apply the tag. It was like he was locked.
I dunno, I may be confused on this one. Either way, it would not allow the tag.

As soon as you make the force out at 1st the runner who was on 1st is no longer forced to 2nd, they can go back to 1st so therefore they need to be tagged out.

Matt Antonelli literally talked about this a couple of weeks ago on one of his videos.

I didn’t know the rule until then either.

    But sorry OP. You’re wrong.

I concede to being wrong on this… HOWEVER what makes you think I give a [censored] about what you or anybody else thinks/says about me on this board? Get a life and grow up little man. You are a small man that gets off on trying to pick on people and make them feel bad. I was WRONG! So what! I’m a man and can live with it and my life will go on just fine! Go look for another post to try and exploit someone. Anyone else as well whom did not participate in civil discord

Once the batter was out at 1st, technically the runner advancing to 2nd could even turn around and go back to first since there is no longer a runner occupying it. Needs a tag.
