So it looked like it was nerfed at the start. And I deffo think no doubters are less but I just played a guy who beat me 7-4 with 5 bombs using contact only.

I switched to the dreaded circle in the 5th and then scored 4 runs with one bomb.

    Jeez. Anyone else noticed?

I think they changed Homerun sliders across the board. I have used normal swing and sometimes power swing exclusively and I’ve for sure noticed a lot more doubles of the wall deep in the gap that I know would have been bombs before the patch.

this to me is just a stupid to be crying about at this point to many guys have well over 100 power and contact and if you cant either tell me who is hitting homeruns i am guessing that your pitching is what lacking in either location or your useing the same 5 pitcher that 95% of the people see every day an just know that your going to throw a high sinker or a breaking ball in the dirt making it easier to time up the hits to crush one

I can find fun in losing. A good back and forther game with hits, strikeouts, HRS, double plays, etc coming down to the last inning or two.

I’m not good enough to care. Just want a decent game and like the guy above says. If I lose 8-7. Then that’s cool.

The contact swinging is just bad. I’m here trying to be a good guy and normal swing until 2 strikes and my man keeps hitting bombs with contact. Just annoying man.

Ah ok I understand but me personally if the end result was a L I can’t find fun in that . losing is frustrating to most people it’s the driving force to wanting to get better and performing well.

Why be a good guy if that means you are at a disadvantage ? . just use circle all the time if you think that’s going to magically help u win 90% of your games , me personally I think people complain a little too much about circle 🤷‍♂️ It’s in the game people are gonna use it .

Put me in a truly competitive environment where sh!t actually matters and it's a different story although I can still find enjoyment after the fact in a loss. I've played and coached in plenty of games that were enjoyable regardless of the outcome. Does that mean I enjoy losing? Nope but more often than not the journey is more rewarding than the result because those results in close and hard fought games usually come down to a singular event.

I've coached and played on plenty of teams where we smoked out opponent and had the game won in the first 10 mins. Those aren't fun IMO. I guess enjoy the thrill of competition more than the result.

Getting better at something never comes from our wins. Failure is what drives ultimate success in sport and life. Watch parents reactions when their kids take their first steps after countless falls (losses). It's priceless.

How do you know he was using contact?

This gets thrown around a lot but I’m sorry if you play this game a-lot(like I do) you can notice when “contact swing” is being used. I mean ball is 8 ft out the zone and he gets a hit. That should tell You something or you really don’t pay attention.

It's still a thing for sure. When your opponent is fouoding pitches off in the dirt and the pci is almost as big as this strike zone. And yes they still get homeruns using contact swing.

this was a contact swing by me in an event game. I concede that it was Degrom working in his 3rd inning on AS in an event game but still no way a contact swing by turner should not result in that HR.

I’ve given up bombs to contact swings on hanging pitches. When I don’t screw my pitch it usually results in flyouts and weak grounders

It's fixed when your mind is at a point of "alright I just don't give no much Fukc about this thing they ridiculously called baseball simulation" and it's make the game more enjoyable..... Oh sorry not at all I feel like this is pure scripted wrestling sometimes but at the same time wrestling is entertaining so.....
