HRD/ASG packs

In previous years did they do more events/programs throughout the season with these packs as rewards or will this be it most likely? Will these packs eventually be like the space packs are now or is this just a limited time thing?

They’ve already had 2 free ones in the Acuna program so I’d say we’ll get more

Yes they did, usually in Inning programs and also in some conquest maps.

No problem. I think it's really hard to tell with these kind of cards because we don't know how many packs they will drop in the future. And that will be the deciding factor for these prices. If it were me, I wouldn't buy now though. I just looked on the market and they spiked significantly since yesterday, so it would probably be smart to wait until they do drop some of these packs in either in a new inning program or a conquest map or some other way like an event reward or something. Either way, keep an eye out for those packs to drop and the prices should go down.

No I’m sorry, I was asking if I should sell now? I pulled Vlad and Alonso and won’t need them to complete Sho. I plan to buy Vlad back when prices drop but I’m wondering if this is probably the top or will it run for another couple days. I pulled Rizzo when they dropped him and sold him immediately for 94k and watched him plummet to 50k within a week but I’ve gotten hosed with all my other pulls. I know you’re not a fortune teller but what I’m asking is would a veteran Show player sell now? It has been quite the spike over the last 12 hours.

Oh my bad, I misread then. In that case, my answer would remain the same because we don't really know what the market will do. So it looks tempting to sell now because the prices spiked, but if they won't drop any packs in the next week or 2, then they will probably spike even further. With the risk of them dropping once they do decide to bring some packs. If I needed stubs, I would hang on one or two more days and then sell.

Ok thanks a ton! I was at like 350k stuns until I bought all these choice packs. I should’ve stopped when I pulled Vlad in my 3rd ASG buy but I kept rolling the dice and lost 40k doing it. Dam dice... I’m now down to 140k and just wondering if I should pad the bank right now. I’ll wait a day or two and watch closely. I mean there’s nothing I need stubs for right now other than investing but I have no experience in investing in this game so maybe it’s better to just stay away.

I just finished TA3, got the 2 packs you mentioned, got a mid-tier (who i didnt have) and a dupe for the ASG.
So im 3 players short for 99 Othani once i get Acuna tonight.
I looked on the Marketplace, it'd cost me 300k.

Got lucky with Vlad on my first pack… then nothing but the common pack on all the others

I'm two players away and am entirely comfortable either A) waiting on more packs to be released for free via some kind of program, or B) selling a boss or WS reward for the ~250K needed for Ohtani.
Note: I am a no money spent player who hasn't caught the hang of investing just yet.

Generally speaking market prices go up on weekend since more people are playing. If you think you may want to sell check the price Saturday night and you might get a few more stubs.

Yea I got very lucky I’ll definitely admit it. I bought the 5 allotted of both packs and pulled Vlad and Petey as well as Story and Soto and then the rest we’re base. I could’ve stopped at my 3rd ASG pack and saved 40k but kept gambling. Then I got my Acuna packs and pulled another Soto and sold him for 71k to buy Realmuto @ 60k and luckily I went ahead and bought Lynn when they were at 30 k two days ago. Just wish I would’ve bought JT then too. So I got Ohtani this morning and I must say I really like his pitching so far but I’ve only used him in this event which is super whacky with the quick counts. Oh and I didn’t even have to collect Vlad to get him. The three cards I choose not to collect were Vlad, Freddy, and Mancini. I don’t have Freddy and Mancini but it was nice not having to buy them. Lol
