Kinda wondering, he can definitely be subbed into the OF in offline play. I haven’t played any online since he’s been released. Is this not an option in online?
It sadly is not unless you are up or down by 6 runs. I have no idea why 6 runs triggers this, but it does

I actually don't hit will with the 99 Ohtani. I hit ok with the other cards. Seems like the power is nerfed at least for me?

I don’t think it’s as much about him being able to play the field as it is the benefit of having a pinch hitter/substitute that doesn’t take up one of your bench spots. So you could open up a bench spot for a situational sub such as a pinch runner or something and still have an extra power bat.

I don’t think it’s as much about him being able to play the field as it is the benefit of having a pinch hitter/substitute that doesn’t take up one of your bench spots. So you could open up a bench spot for a situational sub such as a pinch runner or something and still have an extra power bat.
That i agree with. I always like to have a 99 speed guy on the bench but sometimes I’d rather that spot be takin up by another big bat so i agree it would be nice to have that extra player

Yea man I’ve always wanted to have Henderson on my bench but I can never actually do it cause I’d rather have certain situational platooners where maybe one of them has decent speed instead but definitely isn’t no Rickey. Lol

That’s funny because I still start Finley today because he just RAKES for me. Yea it sucks that the PCI is smaller for him but I feel like it’s getting me prepared for the harder difficulties. And he’s batting like .460.
