All-Star should be the only difficulty for all online content

i feel like the setup rn is pretty good, it scales with ur skill level which makes a lot of sense. the best players playing on anything less than legend would result in unrealistic 30-28 scores which would be annoying but for the new players who r just learning the game veteran/all star make more sense cause its not too hard to hit/pitch

Just eliminate or shrink the outer pci. There is no reason the outer pci should be bigger than the strike zone. That is the issue with Allstar.

I sort of agree with OP. I think there should be casual online ranked seasons and competitive online ranked seasons. Competitive gets better rewards but Casual can get rewards as well and both count for the online grind. Sometimes I just want to watch TV and play (like you can in the current event) but other times I am completely locked in and trying hard. Competitive has two levels HoF and Legend, Casual plays up to Allstar.

Or simply make two ranked seasons. One Veteran and Allstar and the other HOF and Legend
Nobody even the top 1% would choose HOF LEG to grind when they can smack kids around in Allstar

This is just not true. You can check my game logs for the event with common pitchers and I do just fine. Yeah sometimes I get lit up but it is because I get cocky and complacent with my location. I am not bragging, I would be willing to bet that there are a ton of players that do just a good if not better.

Yeah I also can understand people who don’t like jumping between different hitting difficulty over and over again because of the timing , Allstar-HOF are so different.

Can't do that, I play on HoF/Legend and highly doubt they adjust sliders online. Want to play one? I'll use a common pitcher and you use your god squad. We will play on allstar. I am not saying I am going to win but I'd be willing to bet I can strike out a handful of your players and limit your runs. lol

No way. It isnt a level playing field at all once you learn how to hit on Legend, if 2 legend players played on AS i wouldnt be surprised if the game was 30-28.

It generally sucks because of the endless ability to foul off balls. Reduce the success rate on foul balls by 30% and it probably becomes the best difficulty in the game right now with the contact swing nerf that just took place.
That said, for WS and consistent CS caliber players then AS would be torture for us and them. The reality is the game is just too easy on AS, regardless of foul ball success/contact swing nerf, for these players. They can and do hit almost everything in the zone and have too good of an eye to swing at pitches barely outside the zone.
AS is better with the contact swing nerf. I no longer cringe with every pitch I throw in AS. HOF difficulty might play more consistently but it's boring AF having 1 or 2 run games that go into extras. For true WS and HOF goons, then HOF difficulty plays best. For us AS and fringe HOF players it's absolute torture.
For the record, I consider myself an AS caliber player even though I have made HOF the past two seasons with my highest rating being 799. I think I am 23 or so games above 500 as well. My best ever in that regard.
