Is this strictly online patches or is the entire game getting patches even for franchise offline?

According to the patch notes it seems this hitting and pitching changes in this patch are focused on online play.
There are some bug fixes that affect other modes though.

I hope SDS didn't succumb to all the nooby cry babies that complained about getting Perfect/Perfect and expect to hit a home run every single time.
