Auto pitch not working?

I'm in the middle of a BR game and this guy struck out out looking with all 3 batters in the top of the first. He then intentionally walked my leadoff guy. Threw a wild pitch (Leadoff guy advances to 2nd) and now the pitcher is just standing there and not pitching. Game is NOT frozen, i can still pause, steal bases, bunt dance, call time, use R2, etc... Is this some new cheesy way to get wins? Am i boned here or is there a way to get out of this?
