CPU on All Star is effin frustrating

Go Cubs, go!
-
No offense, but that’s on you for only putting up 5 on all star

Just lost to the Cubs on All-Star even though I pulled all the right moves.
Up 5-3, bottom of the ninth. Put in Tom Glavine to face Rizzo, Heyward, Shwarber (lucky how that fell into place).
Should be good, right? Nope, CPU gives me a double middle finger: grounder, blooper, blast ... L.
F**kin' predictable CPU BS.Ahhhhhh, the classic 8 and 9th inning comebacks. The one thing that's always a guarantee in The Show.

I got the new Kerry wood, but I haven’t even gotten granderson yet because the yanks walked off on me in the 12th inning 🥴🥴I haven’t tried since but I’m gonna get him soon

I have trouble picking up the ball on higher difficulties (poor eyesight), but I definitely had opportunities to put up more runs.

This is true.
I had to squeak out a 9-7 win over the Yanks for Grandy, because the CPU seems to place the fly balls right down the line. I had Mo pitch the final 2 innings, but his Cutter wouldn't cut the way it should.
I tried the Cubs one only once so far. Got the first couple of batters out. I pitch carefully to Baez, knowing he has the cover athlete boost, but of course he homers.
I was drunk and just decided to try again sober, because i know more hijinks would ensue! My first try vs. the Yanks and Cole, i scored 5 in the first two innings, but in the bottom of the 2nd they scored 3 BS runs.
I was drunk for that one as well, and made a big baserunning blunder so came back to try later. -
Tom Glavine is a SP. Didn't he have 0 Stamina? Or did they change that this year. I've never brought in a SP to relieve since you always used to start out with no Stamina.
-
Cubs pitcher Darvish walked 4 batters in the first. Ended up winning 4-1. They did get 2 hits in the 9th to have the tying run up to bat .
-
I played a conquest into extras and they brought in starters........kinda miffed about that. Was expecting the cards weaker relievers. Funny how starter might way you done but the next one relieving him gives up runs like crazy

I had him warmed up and ready to go. You're able to use your starters anytime now.

My first attempt against Yanks for Grandy: Cole throws a no-no and I lose 14-0. Yes, I suck.
Second attempt: down 6-2, come back and win with a walk-off from Nelson Cruz in B10.
First attempt for Wood: up 4-2 T9, 1 out. 2-run shot from someone down in the lineup. Lost in 15 innings.
I'm wondering how to learn to hit on All-Star? Should I play RTTS on All-Star to learn the difficulty? I like the feel of progression, even when learning, which is why I suggest RTTS.

I beat them 5-0. Not really all that hard.
-
I hear you, man. I beat the Yankees 2-1 only and the Cubs 3-2. I think all my runs were HRs. The CPU can absolutely crush anything you accidentally leave over the plate, too.
