Don't think that there is an expiry date to his collection. If it does, I don't see anything showing there is.

So it won’t update till the end of the game?Even when the next collection drops you will still be able to do the Rivera collection. As for when the next one is released I would guess the end of the month. But there will be a All Star collection to do next week.

For the most part, unless you want him right away which was the case for me, plus stubs are sp easy to come by this year. Other then buying the game itself i don't spend anything, i just work the market. He's nice to have but he's not my go to closer so if you don't need him you could deffinetly wait it out.
