Zero perfects quit down 1-0 lol

Ok sorry, I’m talking about good good, I called it perfect because the one I was speaking about at that moment that I typed this was a perfect perfect line out to third. It’s not just recently tho and it’s more so the fact that I’m pissed that I square a ball up and it’s a line out or a deep fly at the wall but I threw a ball out of the zone outside and it was taken opposite field for a HR when I hit the same pitch for a fly or line out. That’s what I’m saying.

I don't tend to be this guy but I happened to be on console so I looked: your last 56 innings of online games had 6 perfect perfect. 3 for outs, 3 for hits.
Not sure who was who in those scenarios but that doesn't exactly seem like a lot of perfect outs in 56 innings of play?
-
Not the game I was talking about lmfao and I had to go so I just quit but cool ig?

You mean you dont like when you put a good swing an a fb down middle an fly out and next inning your opponent hits a hr on early swing on outside fb??? This is what makes feel alive with that raw emotion (mostly rage) the game causes tou to have
-
Sure it's super frustrating, but that's baseball man. Crazy sport where a perfect swing can be an out and a wild swing can be a HR. Example: Vlad Guerrero hit pitches in the dirt for HRs.
-
When I wrote this, Matt Wieters, my catcher, hit a sinker down the pisser for a line out. I threw a sinker on the outside out of the zone and it was taken deep. His pci feedback had good good like mine but his pci wasn’t exactly centered on the ball like mine was. That is what pissed me off. I don’t understand what determines what’s a hit or not anymore.

And again it’s not just a one time thing if this happened in just a few games and rarely happened I wouldn’t be on here complaining ab it.
-
I get that for sure I just was mainly venting, but I sometimes feel like this happens a lot to me. That’s why I got frustrated.

it feels like my perfects on the year are at about a 50% rate of getting a hit. Another issue i've seen constantly is my pci covering the ball with good timing and it's a pop up straight in the air and goes nowhere.

I would encourage you to track your perfects then, because with how our brains work it's way easier to remember outs. When we get a perfect single we think nothing of it, it's expected, but when we get an out our brains go "Wait this isn't supposed to happen".
I think you will be surprised by the actual batting average.

More of mine are good good I was more or less talking about throwing a pitch and it getting taken deep but then I hit the same hit and it’s a fly out, just venting but I had some creeps go into my account and correct me, totally missing my point lol.

If you consistently put better swings on the ball than your opponents you will win more than you lose regardless of comparing random outcomes over the course of an inning or two.
-
That’s exactly what I’m talking about, I place it good and I swing well. And it’s a pop up. My opponents get home runs or doubles in the gap.

Absolutely. No one asked for this, but in psychology, it’s called self-serving bias.

From release week, I've been saying that at-em balls are out of control this year. I don't have a problem with PP hit %'s being down. Whatever. But the % of good contact/good timing balls that are smoked right at fielders is comical. Just the code, I guess...
