Back to Meter pitching

Decided to switch back to Meter pitching.
Was using pinpoint all year so far, but I just never really liked it as much as I thought I would.
Honestly though, all the years playing this game, pitching by far is the least rewarding and most boring aspect of this game, especially online, where you can get just killed.
I sure hope in the future they can find a way to make pitching somewhat exciting. -
"especially online, where you can get just killed."
How do you fix that though? Some people are just going to mash the ball because they are really good, so do you just nerf contact in order to make pitching "fun"? Good hitting should always basically always beat good pitching and the only way that changes is nerfing good contact

So how do you do it "right"?
There are lots of really good players that can hit just about anything regardless of what you do. That doesn't mean I'm doing anything wrong, doesn't mean I don't make good pitches, so what does "right" mean. Please enlighten me, I'm curious. -

NOT trying to be a [censored], but the old adage is "Good pitching always beats good hitting".
But you're 100% right. You are going to have guys that destroy everything.
That being said, I get more "nervous" pitching online than I ever did in real life. My online "stuff" isn't as reliable. -

Lol that’s because this sht is unrealistic. If we pitched like we did in real life it be HR after HR

My online "stuff" isn't as reliable. In real life sure, but the thing about that saying is, good pitching beats good hitting there because the good hitting cannot hit them, they do not take good swings. It's not because the good pitching nerfs hitters even if they get barrels. The only way to replicate that in this game would have to be to nerf good contact, which I'm sure basically no one wants

PPP is literally the most rewarding and imo most engaging form of pitching this game has.

This forum doesn't care about how you want to play the game and they expect you to just shut up and fall in line with their thinking!

Please enlighten me, I'm curious.PPP…..people act like it requires so much “skill” to make a half circle on their joystick and move it toward the plate. The only part of PPP that resembles anything that has to do with pitching is maybe the last gesture to, but then that is just old analog….I think meter is the most realistic in that it mimics the release point when pitching. I think it requires the most skill by far and you should be able to paint like you can with lame PPP.
I use PPP, but I honestly think it’s stupid.

unless you're extremely good at pinpoint it doesn't matter what you use
