Came across a showdown glitch

Started up a showdown, I have never completed 1 always get knocked out at first elimination. But I am really trying to finish off team affinity so I can get Jackie. Anyway I load up team affinity season 1 showdown. I draft my players then when it takes you to the screen to either play the challenge or skip to final boss in the bottom left it says final showdown outs remaining and says some crazy number that can't even fit on screen. Like over 1 million. So I am like uh okay and I skip right to it to see what its about. I get into the game and it says 25 outs remaining score is 0-0 with Trevor Cahill pitching and some random team that is not mine, it looks like all Orioles players but then also Dejong Is on the team. And when I get out it still says 25 outs remaining. I have not scored yet so I do not know if I score 1 run and I am done or what I will keep you updated, I just want to know if anyone has seen this before and if so is it bugged and no matter what I do I will not get credit? Or if I score a run should I get the W?

Just hit a 2 run homer and the game is continuing. How many runs does the showdown boss usually start with 15? Maybe I have to surpass 15 runs.

I literally suck at this game. I will update in 5 hours when I can scrape together 13 runs....
