Market for Jackie

The 42 cards are down to around 25k again because of the new inning program. Do you think it's a good time to go for it or wait? I'm tempted to wait and see if there are any 42 packs in the TA3 but by then the prices could be back up and I could end up having to wait a long time if there aren't any in there. I just finished the live series so it'll cost me pretty much everything I have left if I go for it.

Just buy him. Stubs are replaceable and he probably won't get any cheaper. Plus the game is only a year long. Get the most value outta the players you wanna play with by actually using them.

Yeah well that was my thinking for the live series, but now that I'm poor I'm not so courageous lol. But still, a good point.

Ya I mean, he may be a bit cheaper at the very end of the game cycle but what's the value of any card really at that point? I know what u mean tho

What if I told you you could get him super cheap in January? You want to play with him now or in 5 months? The card is awesome and could be in your lineup all year. Get him and you won't regret it

I’ve yet to read a post from anyone who has said they regret paying any price for Jackie. He’s top 3 card in the game and count yourself lucky he’s available as cheap as he is now. I argue he’s better than Soriano and Ortiz.

Yeah, I always had no fun using Jackie in years past, but he has been in my leadoff spot non stop since I got him about 3 weeks ago. Hes pretty sweet. Players swings and feel dont normally carry over. Especially this year.

I completed him on Sunday. May overpaid buying the last 7 I need for 28k a pop. Jackie is sweet though should be a starter for a while and end game bench guy. I say do it.

Best time to finish jackie: first 2 days of June potm release because there might be another free 42 pack in program + already free pack in 4th inning program

I decided to finish the LS collection and then buy Story rather than to get Jackie about 3 weeks ago. I knew they'd drop another pack in the 4th inning, so I waited and I was able to get Jackie last night after needing 5 of the 42 cards. I bought 4 on Friday and then just earned XP to get the last pack.
I'm looking forward to using him now!
