    It's better than '19 and '18 I'll concede that!

19 is pretty solid after everything was patched up, still enjoying it ... I can’t say if 20 is better because I haven’t played it yet, but I’m hearing lots of bugs and fielding errors, even base running errors need patching... So maybe 20 will be better eventually, but it doesn’t sound like it now ....

    post em all.

This wasn't a good swing.. well twice it was, twice it wasn't. But this is the best example of roll of the dice contact results.

It’s the same as MLB 18 post patch. Timing window off. Lack of hit variety. HR or bust. Fielding god awful. Contact guys barely matter. It’s all about Gallo Olson Ortiz and fluke homers.

I've been saying this since day 1. Granted back then contact was viable, but pitch speeds are far superior.

    I got 50 more if you're interested.

Lmao 102, almost dead center, 91 exit velo. That's [censored] my dude. Hitting imo should be reverted, pitching needs the buff. Make accuracy stronger, back to what it was on 17. Analog has the most input features available to pitching, so there shouldn't be any more ridiculously hung balls on input that is either on or just ever so slightly off target.

I've been baffled playing this game the last few days. But yeah, i couldn't have said it better. As long as they don't forget the fielding issues in the mix of all that, it's a perfect game. So much potential.

Better than 18 for sure, and potentially a great game after a few more needed patches that address the major issues.

There’s going to be some flaws. Gmafb with whining about exit velocity. Seems pretty good when I play. I only play at ATL so idk about other parks. But it’s true some parks are just touched to hit in just like IRL.
The fielding is a problem I’ll admit that, but I love the hitting and better than previous pitching accuracy for my input

The hitting is a dumpster fire post 1.04 and has effectively become a random outcome generator with good contact. While I get that some bad players and sim lovers want this, the majority playing DD wants their input to actually be the defining feature of outcomes, not some background algorithm.

Gotta have a sim factor ... That’s like playing a basketball video game where every shooter has the same shooting percentage... Simulation must always have some factor ... User control needs balance, pitching needs work for sure, random meatballs is just stupid ...

I don’t know how many times I e heard someone compare The Show to real life baseball. I mean seriously it’s a video game. As far back as I can remember 18, 19 etc. this game has had many flaws and sadly it’s the only MLB game on the market. This year does seem worse than past years for now. Like others have said hitting , fielding, pitching etc. are jacked up right now. One would think after all the flaws from previous years one might know how to fix it all by now. Wait and see

Its early in the games life cycle, ask me after the final patch & we have the best version of each mode.

If you only play in MLB parks nobody needs to prove anything to you, you’ve already proved you have no idea what you’re talking about.

How about the fact pitching online is completely broken?

That’s the biggest reason I’m not playing atm.
