RTTS Program progress still stuck

Why are they not addressing the issue? Multiple people in a large number are experiencing this issue. Even if you don't simulate any part of the game, the archetype still gains no progress. This is a game breaking bug for anyone wanting to play RTTS, especially when you can use your player in DD.

I can't even save now. Auto save and manual saves give me an error message. It even DELETES my old saves!!! WTF SDS! I wasn't even simming. I was playing each game. Omfg.

I was coming on the forum just to see if anyone else was having trouble with this. I got on RTTS and played 1 plate appearance then simmed the rest, and nothing counted. Then I pinch hit and played it and nothing counted.

Simming stats was patched a long time ago!

Didn't know that, but still didn't count for what I didn't sim

Actually simming was patched recently, not a long time ago. Just play each game. It counts that way. Plus my save error went away. Just had to restart the game. Still its game breaking. My old saves were gone. Had to restart.

Even if I play the entire game, doing just my appearances, it doesn't count. I don't hit Sim once.

Yeah none of my stats counted and I played every plate appearance. This is ridiculous.

This time I played my game and I didn't even skip to next player appearance once I got on base like I usually do and all of my progress counted once the game was over.

Yeah I don’t understand, I swear on a patch a while ago they said they fixed progression but it’s stuck again. I started a new career as a 3B and there’s been absolutely no progress on missions. Even before I created this new career i had a SP career and archetype progression also got stuck. Idk what’s going on but it sucks cause you can grind really hard and nothing will ever progress.

Because they’d rather try to make money off of diamond dynasty rather than fix the issue. They have become the EA sports of baseball and this is the last year they will make money off of me. They quickly turned into a greedy company.

Just to keep this rolling. I have the same issue. One load out, no progression on archetypes. Still stuck on bronze. It’s stuck on 48/50 hits. I can go 5-5 and nothing counts. I’ve added my player to DD, played one at bat with him, jumped back on RTTS and nothing happens. I’ve deleted different save points, nothing. I just got done reinstalling the game and it still won’t track any hits or ABs…….

I noticed my stats start to count when I stopped simming once I got on base. I just turned off base running opportunities to bypass that. Not sure if that might be your issue as well.

In the clubhouse go into the schedule " view schedule "and select play next appearance don't ever play next game and don't play next appearance from clubhouse you have to actually go into the calendar and select play next appearance on every individual date this works I've never had an issue with progress i have all 6 diamond archetypes for pitching and 4 out of the 24 fielding archetypes

Just tried what you said about the calendar, and I'm still gaining zero progress.

You can NOT simulate any portion in game and receive progress. You cannot even "sim to next appearance" as that will nullify any progress for program.

What are you supposed to do, watch the entire game then? I have my settings to play all opportunities and it still randomly puts me in to play and I still get no credit. This archetype progression is just legitimately broken and needs to be fixed. OR, they need to come forward and explain in full detail how to make it work since it's random on who or how it works for people.

Let me be more specific...You can select "sim to next appearance" using the triangle button after an appearance using the ballplayer, but you cannot "sim to next appearance" or "sim to the end of game" from the pause menu.
You can also change in the settings (outside of playing the game) to sim running and fielding and that is also ok!

Let me be more specific...You can select "sim to next appearance" using the triangle button after an appearance using the ballplayer, but you cannot "sim to next appearance" or "sim to the end of game" from the pause menu.
Sorry I edited and added more by the time you responded. I don't do either of those. When the option to hit triangle to sim pops up, I just hit the x button to skip the presentation and go back to the game progress. At the end of the game when it gives the option to sim to end of game, or stop simming, I select stop. I also never began simming at any point, so if it assumes I have been then there lies the issue.

I also did turn off running and fielding like you suggested, the game still gave me zero progress.
