Oh my goodness. If one more terrible fielder makes a gold glove play in showdown that’s gonna be it. I swear. Players with less than 70 fielding consistently make driving plays to get me out. It’s so annoying. Like SDS you made them bad at fielding for a reason
And its consistently on the lower difficulties too
Idk what your point is. I’m hitting it good squared up each time and still getting out

I've failed the 1st inning showdown 17 times now. I just have to accept that It's not gonna happen

My point is these cpu fielders are making remarkable plays that they definitely shouldnt be and it seems like it happens more on the lower difficulties i just played 2 play vs cpu 9 inning games on hall of fame and not once did the cpu attempt a diving catch on plays it probably would've on the lower difficulties

Comparatively it is far easier to put the ball in play in showdown because it's on an easier difficulty, so you're more likely to see more spectacular plays. I understand the frustration, but showdown is all about wearing the pitcher down and looking for your pitch.

Showdown is about treating each AB like a precious commodity and not allowing the crazy plays to get you off your game.

I completed the First Inning Showdown on my second attempt, although there was plenty of frustration. But these Divisional Showdowns have been driving my crazy. This game mode is so obviously rigged. I can’t stand it.
But because I am not willing to pay for stubs I have to play it. It’s torturous, really. It makes me not want to play the game. I turn my PS4 off after attempting Showdown all the time. It’s a total bummer.

All-Star for most of us is the medium or the main difficulty but Veteran and Rookie with bad fielding stats should not be making All-Star caliber fielding plays is all we're saying it's annoying the CPU can do it but your guys who are better cannot I get both sides of the argument but I'm siding with the player it's been going on for way to long with the fielding..

It's the worst man. I saved a clip of thee most incredible diving catch I've ever seen by 72 OVR RF Harold Ramirez (57 fielding, 56 reaction) on veteran difficulty. As soon as the ball hit the bat he was at full speed and then managed to get up and rocket the ball to the cut off. Like why?

Meanwhile, my players file a union complaint and go on strike to avoid throwing a relay with any sort of urgency regardless of how early you preloaded the throw.
