I swear everytime i try to give this game the benefit of the doubt they screw it up. This year was nothing more than the same recycled graphics (IGN mentioned that on their review as well) and the repetitiveness that makes me feel like im still playing MLB the Show 17 but in 2021 oh! And let me not even speak on the commentary, seriously? You guys are so busy retouching old graphics that nobody seems to care that the commentators not only repeat the same thing i've been hearing since 2009 but even repeating the same lines in the same Match lol. "And it is Gone! A Homerun!" "And just like that, this ballgame is tied" i mean come on guys? I do understand we just came from a pandemic and maybe studios werent able to work for a while but you guys have been doing this since forever i mean to see any changes in graphics or motions you'l have to be purchasing the game every 4 years and the changes arent even that good!... i seriously believe you guys have gotten way to confortable with being the only studio that makes a MLB because i really think if you guys still had 2k as a competitor and you guys were making the games you guys are now, they would've been smoking ya in sales! And to think that back then you guys were way better than them but comparing what they do with their NBA games year after year you guys are slacking!... thats all ill say, and i get many people are okay with the flaws and justify the lack in progress with the cross-play and blah blah but i seriously believe if you guys werent ready i would have rather wait a year or even extra months to pay for a videogame that seems half complete to me.... and please fix the freeze offs

SDS does need to clean this up. It's 2021, PS5 and new Xbox's exist now. These animations are so old. And so many little mistakes that make it seem like they don't care. Just here for the money basically.

Spoiler aler...they don't care. That's why we have no game play patches despite all the problems. They are spending their time making more stupid fantasy cards trying to squeeze more money out of little Timmy's mom's credit card.

Hahaha well said and like i said, i bet you that if we had another studio making MLB they wouldnt be doing this. For godsake i played a 2019 japanese baseball game and it felt like they tried more than SDS! The batters swings look like they actually have power behind them, Its insane

How about some updated commentary patched in???? How about replacing some of the stale [censored] lines with new ones??? How about an option to turn off each commentator's audio individually that existed in the past.
And to your question, adding the commentary of "I just hit a three-point touchdown" would be welcoming at this point. At least is it [censored] something new and different.

They need to fix all the [censored] because I have a raging issue and this game (including MLB 2020) has cost me 6 controllers. I'm now having to use a 10 year old controller that barely works because I don't want to pay another $100 for a new PS4 controller I can barely find online.
Broken controllers - $600
MLB 21 game JR edition - $100
MLB 20 game - $50
MLB 20 stub purchases - $750Total spent - $1,500 in two years and I really can't stand how boring this game has become.

Bro sameee! I’ve broken a [censored] tv cause of their bs and they banned me for offensive language… idk how Tf I said anything bad. I want my account back cause I spent so long playing this game and now I can’t even access online. -
