AS Difficulty + Contact swings

How do you guys play AS difficulty? It is impossible to strike people out.

It is not impossible, but you have to throw 5+ pitches to each batter normally and the pitches that get people out verses ones they hit are ridiculous.

Well if you’re judging from the event, it’s a little easier when you can actually use good pitchers.

Diamond pitchers have a little easier time against contact swing. But it’s not only on allstar, it’s hof and legend.

I’ve had a few people hit perfects against me when the ball was down by the ankles. People could off multiple balls in the dirt or balls that should be hitting the them. Contact swing is ridiculous.

On HOF is better, you can induce weak contact but AS with a very noticeable difference in pitch speeds is tough.

I think trying to strike your opponent out is a mistake on AS. Those long battles with deep counts don’t do anything good for your pitcher, even if you do get a K after 9 pitches, especially in a three inning game.
