Deion Sanders
But also, all the steroid-era guys. Bonds, Sosa, McGwire, A-Rod, Clemens, Canseco, Palmeiro, etc.
I mean, they have Bagwell, Biggio, and Piazza who I suspect weren't 100% clean.
They're part of baseball history and need to be included. We got live pitchers who are in the game and using sticky substances and still included. I think there's a problem with shying away from the controversial players...you can't erase these people from the game especially considering a lot of us grew up watching them. I'll add these votes.
Thanks and yea! I visited Cooperstown about 10 years ago. I plan on never going back unless these guys get in (all of them!)
Well, maybe if Bryant and Rizzo get in....I'll visit, but I'll do so with a scowl on my face.
I do not think they all our HOF but yes Bonds and Clemens 100 percent should be in the HOF
McGwire, Sosa, A-Rod are NOT HOF worthy?! Going to assume you're kidding..
McGwire and Sosa to me are Boarder line look at the overall numbers across the board. A Rod is the only one that cheated after they started enforcing the rules. I am, ok with A Rod getting in the HOF.. McGwire only had 1,626 hit, not even 2,000. career avg 263, yeah no on McGwire
Agree to disagree. He was also ROY, 12x All-Star, and ranks 13th in MLB history in OPS. Ahead of Mantle, DiMaggio, Musial, Big Hurt, etc.

Could we get a Jose Bautista with that bat flip? That might rival Kirby Puckett or Reggie Jackson as the best bat flip.

That is all good, I do not put much weight into AS games as it is fan favorites. I get the HR, RBI's, OPS. Under 2,000 hits and that with the speculation of Roids, .263 avg. Not in the top 1,000 in avg. He Ranks 515 in hits he avg approx 100 hits a season. That is why i would say no. Mantle had over 2,400 hits. 800 hits more with 18year McGwire played 16 years, Thomas is over 2,400 as well/ Musial over 3,600 hits. DiMaggio played 13 years and has 2,200 hits.
Mantle career avg 298, Thomas .301, Musial .331, DiMaggio .325 and missed three year because of Military service in the middle of his career. McGwire has nothing on those players.Edit: Avg War for 1B in the HOF is 66 McGwire is 62 which ranks him 166 on the list for career

I've noticed a few of threads regarding player wishlists since I started jumping on this forum yesterday. I'm going to edit and keep an official tally on this post to keep track since from what I understand SDS monitors these forums. I'm adding my requests and will update as people post.
Add Magglio Ordòñez and Alan Trammell!
-
Thank you everyone for your submissions, I'll updating the tally shortly. I spoke with the person who started the other thread regarding player requests. I'll link it in the main post and will be adding those votes to the total as well.
-
I wonder if SDS will even look at this thread and/or consider trying to add some of these guys, I’m not holding my breathe.
-
Halfway through adding the votes from the thread "SDS Calls you get to make 3 cards", all votes on this thread have been tallied.
Adding Jim Leyritz
-
Bumping thread, the remainder of the votes will be tallied shortly.

That would have to be his card art, non-negotiable. Otherwise it's not Joey Bats, it's just some dude who played for the Blue Jays

Carlton Fisk
Mickey Tettleton
Ron Gant
Andres Galaraga
Doc Gooden -
All the players that were on the Springfield Power Plant softball team.

I know this would be a really big long shot, but a 30/30 (3 times) Howard Johnson would be awesome.
