Wasnt steroids they were using, it was HGH

Yeah you’re right if it’s produced naturally by your body, however what those guys were taking was synthetic and therefore an anabolic steroid. Same goes for Androstinedion and other drugs. What an ignorant statement.
Performance enhancing drug does not equal anabolic steroid; that is a specific, distinct substance. They are used towards the same goal though.

Dude those substances are literally anabolic steroids. Look it up. They’re synthetic hormones that are designed to increase bulk and speed up the recovery process.

I think Cole takes a lot more heat due to his status, but It was estimated that 80% of pitchers were using a sticky stuff. Bauer just hates Cole, that’s why he’s been named countless times. But so far the last two starts Cole still has been solid.

Well they were illegal... Unless you want to suggest it must in the roller book in which case shooting a player mid game isn't in the rules either.
And yes those substances were federally illegal to use outside of a prescribed course of rehabilitative treatment by a licensed physician. So if a baseball player was using those substances to gain an advantage they were doing so in a criminal way.
