50 orders at 2,500 stubs on a common

So I’m trying to finish out the Padres collection, which will also complete the NL West for me. The only thing stopping me is that someone has put in about 50 orders at 2,500 stubs on a common. There are also orders at every stub from 2,400 up to 2,500. Any idea why someone would do this? It’s pretty annoying because I was going to just put in a buy order at 2,500 and deal with it to finish off the collection, but with it being a common it won’t let me buy above 2,500. Not trying to complain, just looking for reasons why this might be and if I’ll ever be able to actually finish the collection lol.

Those are new cards that got added in today's roster update, so there isn't many currently existing. One person didn't put in all 50 orders, those are 50 people trying to get the card. Just put in an order for 2500 and you will probably have it within a couple hours, commons move fast

It's a new card. Not many opened yet, and others need it just like you. Put in the order and it will get filled.

Put in your order and it’ll fill in a couple hours or wait a couple weeks for the price to settle. Its a new card added to the roster

Yeah it looks tedious but about a month ago, I put in a few order of 2500 when there was a lineup of over 1000. Order was filled next day. It goes fast
