Sometimes when a player goes to the 60 day IL they get moved to the FA pool. The LS collection is based off the 40-Man roster

The show maintains each teams 40 man rosters. Kluber is injured and on the 60 day IL, thus not on the Yankees 40 man roster… so the video game defaults him to FA to not screw up the collections of each 40 man roster.
