Hitting stats not counting for Ballplayer progress

Hitting stats that I achieve while playing RTTS do not register in the progress of the archetype. Anyone else experience this?

Just started happening to me this week.

If you sim any part of the game it doesn't add the stat anymore.
Even if you bat 50 times in one game. At least it didn't for me, that's why I said ta heck with it.
