How many times have you read these words from some idiot on these forums? I don't know if those that repeat these pearls of wisdom are gatekeepers, SDS employees, trolls, or just simple-minded.
But, when you get ready to type/say something like this again..stop, take a breath, and think about how that is exactly like saying, after someone buys a new car that was marketed and promoted and billed to be awesome and it fails to live up to the hype, "well, don't drive it then".
I'll even make it simpler and, possibly, more relevant to the pricing model. Let's say you grab a Cheesy Gordita Crunch from Taco Bell. Made with a hard taco shell filled with seasoned beef, lettuce, real cheddar cheese and spicy ranch sauce all tucked nicely in a piece of flatbread with melted three cheese blend.
When you get home with this awesomely advertised item, they've replaced the beef with cat feces, or the cheese with snot. Then one of you sages offer this "Don't eat it then. You shouldn't complain or be critical" Don't vocalize your dissatisfaction because that's dumb (or whatever squirmy brain worms motivate you to say such rubbish). That's all.
I award you no points… and may god have mercy on your soul.

The complaints in this game that I have seen are all complaints that are fickle at best and most are are just rage post because someone took advantage of them. Most complaints in this game can be overcome by simple adjustments in your own game such as the contact swing. If it’s such an issue than logic would say use the contact swing instead of complaining to nerf it. Or the complaint about pitch speeds in online play. So if it’s an issue than go to custom practice and practice hitting on legend with sliders on pitch speeds maxed out. Or my favorite RNG. Well no one has ever produced any empirical evidence that RNG has ever influenced the outcome of any game. These anecdotal stories of guys striking out 15-20 times in a game and then magically hitting a walkoff in the 9th are not plausible arguments. The logical explanation is how was the opponent even given the chance to walk you off. Put your opponent away and you don’t have to worry about the home run from the heavens taking you out. I’m sure there are other complaints and I could most likely toss a response to those issues at you. So if the game isn’t fun because you perceive it to be broken than telling someone to not play is a perfectly adequate response. Why you ask? BECAUSE ITS A VIDEO GAME. It’s intended to be entertaining not a job. If it’s a job than quit and move on to something more entertaining. It’s really that simple.

I don't know if your 6 million number is true or not. But here's some logic bud. If there are 6 million..a bootload of them likely don't play DD. They don't see the "dark side". Of those that do play DD, maybe 10% actually venture on to this here forum. Of those that venture out, maybe 20% of that 10% feel like speaking up. So we've dwindled it down to 3 people. There is your logic.

Ain't that the truth.
FIFA gets me going as well. These sports online games aren't for true competitors. The AI takes away the whole practice-get-better-get-gud possibility and it gets frustrating when you lose games to the AI..with an opponent on the other end of the wire that is being rewarded with animation that shows false outcomes.
I've never once whined or criticized a shooter game (played the best and most iconic). Because they don't try to market them as something they are not.
It's just gamers shooting at each other and sometimes you get the kill shot..sometimes you get the bullet twixt the eyes.
But you don't have this entire online marketing strategy built on DD or UT that attempts to leverage the real sports games and depict a false competition that is truly dictated by the underlying code.
That is what gets frustrating for those of us that have ever actually competed in the real-life games and understand the costs and rewards.
