Another suggested fix. I'm attempting a steal with Johnny Damon just now. A pitch out. I notice and send Damon back to 1B. The 2B, meanwhile, is holding his glove down as if waiting for a runner to come sliding in.

Johnny has disappeared off my screen because, hey, I bumped the R1 and sent him back to first. Still looking at the 2B holding his glove on the ground waiting...shoulda knowed.

Suddenly "here's Johnny" (had to get that in) coming back down the line with absolutely no controller input involved heading to second base. And, the patient 2B finally gets his man.

I mention this because I've seen similar outcomes often. Again, blatantly screaming AI is controlling this all and pulling the occasionally invested customer/player out of any sense of immersive and realistic play.
