Face CPU #5 Starter

On play vs CPU it used to be if I start my 5 then I’d see the opponents 5. Now when I start my 5 I get the opponent ace. It’s not a big deal because I’m just grinding plate appearances or missions, but anybody know how to match up with the opponents 5 now?

That only works in conquest. In play vs cpu it doesn't work like that. I think you usually get the same pitcher all day long when playing vs cpu

I picked my ace against the rockies and got their worst

I used to play against the Orioles and would get Lowther every time I threw my 5. Just assumed he was the 5. Now I get Means every time I throw my 5.

Make sure he’s actually your worst rated. Not necessarily the 5th spot

Make sure he’s actually your worst rated. Not necessarily the 5th spot
This is your answer. If your number 5 is 98 rated and number 1, 2, 3 and 4 are all lower than your #5 is actually your ace.

I played my game vs the Giants for Marichal just now and I chose my lowest rated pitcher in my rotation and I got their 5th starter, Logan Webb. Maybe it was just a coincidence.

I was definitely throwing my lowest rated SP. 92 with no parallel or anything compared to the other 4 being 94+

I play conquest and against cpu a lot. I've always got matched up with the # starter against the # I used. Weird.

Same here and when I play vs CPU for player programs.

That hasn’t happened to me. Whenever I use my 5 starter in vs CPU I always get their 5th starter. Just did it again against the Reds for the Parker program.
