Is Posada really that good?

Huff is the current best C
Maybe for you. Ruiz far outperforms him for me. Havent tried posada or santana but Ruiz is my guy for now
88 Sally Perez 42 series is lights out for me, if not him, Mercedes. Both have some pretty good power.

Huff has a horribly slow swing like Soriano

I think it may be Torre for me but Huff is close.

I'm using Will Smith until I get to P5 (about 500 points), then going to start paralleling Posada.
-
I'm still using Piazza. Haven't tried Huff yet outside of offline grind.
I packed Adley from the Space 2(i think) from last inning but sold him as I'm still working on the collections

Is anyone else having a hard time getting XBH/HR with Bench?
I swear to god -- I am batting .390 with him and he either hits: a ground ball for a single, a Texas-Leaguer for a single or lines-out/pops-out. It blows my mind. I have tried him in the 2, 3, 4 and 5 spots -- same results and Bench is a dude you do not want on first base.

I used Posada for quite some time but I didn't have the same success with him as most people have...I have been loving Torre at Catcher since I got that card though.
-
Depends on difficulty you're playing on. Posada is good on hof and legend with his high contact and sneaky pop but on all star you can get someone in there with a lot more power and defense
-
if you can get Piazza, I would go that route. I am only playing other catchers for TA S2 and the NL E is already complete. Once I finish the NL C and AL W -- Piazza is back in. The dude hits doubles and HR all-day.

No one is mentioning Santana for the most part - I assumed he was the go to but now I wonder.

I just completed the Yankees LS collection and unlocked Posada. Should I start him? I hear he's amazing. I currently have P3 42 Salvy, Huff and P2 Rookie Gary Sanchez. Thoughts?
Had posada the first couple days of release. He is superfractor and can't take him out. So clutch, either hr or gap shot every game.
-
Yeah. No one has replaced Posada for me. Have Weiters, Piazza, Adley, Huff, etc but the high contact, sneaky pop and switch hitter with great swing is too much IMO for me to take him out. I do like the Santana card but haven’t used it yet as 100,000 stubs is too much for a headliner IMO and that will come down in time.
