Next inning's conquest map should be in the shape of a Spider (Tack).

They should add it as a ritual you can equip on your ballplayer
It shouldn't be a ritual, it should be a glove. It can be a Gerrit Cole or Bauer glove, kinda like the Nike Trouts cleats. +99 control, +99 break, and K/9 should be +99 too.

Glasnow is blaming his injury on trying to get used to not using it before the crackdown.

There is no denying that MLB should have been enforcing the "no foreign substances" rule more closely, and that they should have been looking into this years ago when the rumblings first emerged about new variants to add RPM. That being said, I don't get the pitcher reactions. They've been getting away with murder for years, and now they're whining because if they get caught they get a 10 day paid vacation? Most of them have already made their millions by cheating the system, and you know sure as [censored] they won't be giving any back as their performance comes back down to Earth.
Maybe this is a hot take, but suck it up buttercup. I don't think it should matter that the penalty has changed during the season. They weren't supposed to be doing it to begin with, and now there are consequences. They're super weak consequences and barely a slap on the wrist, which makes the complaints about it even worse. Maybe if pitchers didn't take it too far in the quest greater RPM they could still use something for a better grip while MLB looked the other way. They have no one to blame but themselves.

Pitchers use this across the board above h.s. level. Been happening for decades in one foreign substance or another.
Oh for sure that’s why I think it’s mad they did it in the middle of the season. Going to be a lot more guys like Glasnow I’m afraid
You mean like changing the baseballs like they did right before the postseason 2 years ago? This league is clueless.

I think Trevor Bauer is cool about other players celebrating.
Yes he is.
I also wish he was my dad
hes 30 years old, unless youre like 7-8 that would be pretty weird.

Absolutely nothing changed during the season, this has been the rule and penalty long standing.
MLB issued official notice to all teams this off season they were aware of rampant cheating and told teams they were stepping up enforcement including data analysis of spin rates to find cheaters. https://www.si.com/mlb/2021/03/24/mlb-cracks-down-foreign-substances-baseballs-help-hitters
Players brazenly ignored the league and their warning now they are crying. There is absolutely nothing new about this and the MLB have explicit warning to stop this off season.

Also, in the next conquest map, you just get stuck in one spot and can't move.

Sell your Gerrit Cole's. He's gonna be average at best from now on.

I am actually worried about injuries. DeGrom went out in the 3rd with elbow soreness much like Glasnow complained about. I think guys are having to grip the ball a little more, causing tension in the elbow.
-
Honest question: Would you guys rather have A.) no sticky stuff and 'dejuiced' balls, or B.) sticky stuff and the balls from a couple years ago?

I've never pitched so I am probably talking out of my [censored] here...but couldn't part of the solution be to not throw so hard? Maybe everyone isn't meant to throw 97+ mph fastballs. Maybe everyone isn't meant to have devastating breaking stuff. Maybe if they dial it down a notch or two they will still have control without a death grip on the ball.
That would swing the pendulum back towards the hitters...and to that I say good. Again, they've been cheating for years with zero consequences. If hitters can be forced to hit without the aid of performance enhancing drugs (and let's be honest here, pitchers were using too) then pitchers should be forced to pitch without their sticky stuff and allow us to see their actual natural ability.

I pitched all the way up to 2 years in college and trust me you are not taught to throw 1000% every throw. Going 80%, 90% gives natural speed variation on the ball. A few mph either way can effect how a pitch looks.
I never used anything but the rosin bag. Sounds like these dudes been doing this for awhile and don’t know how to pitch naturally anymore
