Pitch selection for...Cavan Biggio

I was just playing a conquest game and I pinch hit for my pitcher with milestone Cavan Biggio. Then my wife came down to talk to me. I got distracted and must have cancelled out the bullpen screen after that half inning because Biggio was on the mound.

I know in the past position players only had fastballs and change ups, but Biggio had a fastball, sinker, and curveball. I thought that was kind of weird. Did they do something behind the scenes with position players pitching this year, or is that unique to Biggio?

Nah they pretty much all have three pitches now
