People don't like facing Eck? Really? I find him to be just about as easy as it gets to hit, very leisurely pace and all bottom of the zone. Plus any reliever in a showdown is hopeless as they can only throw 60 pitches before losing all energy. Take the first 2 pitches of every at bat and he'll be exhausted before getting 10 outs probably

I have historically faded out of mlb ts, I think having it on the Xbox with my friends has kept me more involved I've never completed collections like this.

Lock them behind him like make a cheap bid and keep adding?
Saving won't take too long. I had 350k but unleashed it to finish up 99.9% of the LS collections.
Also given the type of bats available in TA s2, I'm not dying to have Trout, Chipper and Ortiz. I love Thome at 1B and the rest of my infield hits very well and has incredible speed/Def.

Yes exactly, that's how I got him I would get to 200k in stubs and lock in 100k of them and just keep repeating until you have him. Mind you I got him for 275k so my wait wasn't that long and absolutly i understand that, theres so many great cards out already.

Im at 530k i think ill easily complete it.
All i do is collections and RS.
I need to only play RS for the season because i wont get to WS by rating only by wins - i want Vida for my rotation!
1.3 wins per day. I won 2 last night.

I skipped to Eck down 5-15 and made him throw 132 pitches. I barely swung the bat to beat him.

I did it on the first try going in down 15-14. It’s on veteran difficulty and some of the challenges are on rookie. Nothing all that hard to be honest.

yea looking bad i wish i would have spent 150-200$ and got him right away now its like impossible with him over 500k. absolutely insane
