The tweet has Indians ALCS and national league rookie of the year, so you look at the guys who could check those boxes... Justice does, Frank Robinson another guy who might as well fit...

SDS release clues in social media

The first clue stated that the first reward was a former AL MVP card and was accompanied by a photo that showed the A's stadium and what appeared to be a Twins Jersey.

The card turned out to be Vida Blue Milestone no hitter. Fun fact his no hitter was against the twins and Blue won an AL MVP.

The 2nd clue stated the player was a former NL Rookie of the year and the picture is clearly of the Indians stadiums. The 2 players that fit this clue are Rafael Furcaul and David Justice. Both NL Rookie of the years and played for the Indians.

You would think so, but the majority of people that play this game and follow social media have almost no idea who Frank Robinson is so who knows. I think Justice is more likely but Robinson surely is possible

I just don't see it. They would hype him being the first black manager and i think they would hype him pre launch. I get the kids don't know him and that's their own fault for not wanting understand the history of the game considering how easy it is to get the info.. I would love to be wrong because a frank card would be usable as justice probably won't be anything more than a bench bat and that is coming from a braves fan.

I hope it’s not a Robinson card. Not because it wouldn’t be a great card and he wasn’t a great player. It’d just be sort of be disrespectful in my opinion. I think he deserves a way more hyped reveal. 2 x MVP, like a nine million time all star.

Doing a quick deep dive into stats. For all the new age analytics he’s top 20 in career WAR. His Slugging is top 40.

I agree with you that he would deserve a better reveal, but as I said above, the average player of this game doesn't have any clue who Frank Robinson is. Of this game's players most of their baseball knowledge is from the last 10 years and who is already in this game. I also said above that Justice is definitely the most likely of the 2, but Robinson isn't out of the realm of possibility

Most of the people playing this game thinks mike trout is more talented than mickey mantle too so... I still think frank would be a big deal. Most people playing this game don't know half the players exect that the guys get good cards. I hope this game helps or at least gets kids interested in the history of the game.

But you guys are kind of making me hope this is frank.. I think the vida card will be the best vida card we have ever had in the game so why not give us a top ten player of all time too ???

Younger people don’t know who Frank Robinson is because he was overshadowed by bigger stars, became a grumpy old man as a manager, and got into verbal sparring matches with the press regularly, so they never went out of their way to promote him.
