The servers in this game are insanely terrible. 120Mb/s down and 40 up, yet lag after lag after lag. Pitch goes nowhere near location on a perfect Pinpoint, swing is delayed, ball studders right before it crosses the plate, etc. I could go on and on but it's a terrible experience all around. Makes playing online not one bit of fun when a perfect/perfect is a warning track pop-up. Seriously?

It's not a pop-up if it goes to the warning track.

download and upload speed mean next to nothing when it comes to online gaming guy. 10+ mbps down/up is more than enough. You can stream 4k 60fps with only 6mbps upload.
Ping/latency is what matters. The infrastructure of your internet connection is what determines that for the most part. How your ISP routes it's traffic will be a big factor in your latency/ping. Most big ISP like Xfinity, Spectrum etc have insanely bogged down nodes. They'll frequently run way too many IPs on an individual node which wont impact your D/U speeds but will definitely impact your latency/ping.

Even though you are right, he still has a valid point about the connection infrastructure in this game being notoriously awful. Even with a ping <15 this game runs like slow mud online. Just to clarify, that <15 ping is not measured in The Show but on DSLreports, because we don't know what our ping is in this game. People have been asking for a ping indicator for years, but I know why we still don't have one.

Dragon Ball Fighterz gives you the opportunity to select signal strenght before you start looking for an opponent. I wish we could do the same here, I’d rather spend more time searching for a game instead of going up against people with McWiFi

Logic is not advanced knowledge of networking. Expecting everyone to have that information is not "logical".
Try again bud.

Stop playing in stadiums that have to render a ton of stuff. Why do you think people play in shippett? The lag. The faster the community gets this then they will have a heck of lot more fun playing the game. PS4 and PS5's are not cpu's and can't render that much without producing a lag. It has notta to do with the servers when it comes to that particullar point.

Its not lag homey, this game isnt optimized correctly, least on Xbox series.. i always encounter game stutters. That ball studder is BS and happens all the time, mostly on Sinkers or something 102. Its like it cant keep up. Its impossible to play this game competivly online.
Alot of other issues in this game i wont get into since it won't get fixed anyways.
Doubtfull its your internet dude. Alot are having this problem
