You can only equip one ritual at a time, and Legendary Call is by far the best for a hitter. The only one that is even close is "El Nino" The Kid which gives +6 contact and power. There are also a lot of people that only play RTTS and don't have much else to spend stubs on, which likely inflates the price.
27,000 is not a lot of stubs if you know how to use the market. I made at least 150,000 yesterday while watching TV. People make millions through investing in weekly roster updates.

This. Buy diamond equipment and rituals now because when people run out of architects to make they will go back up to regular prices. But there is no glitch. You can just sim games.
