Can we get a poll going?

No idea how to make a poll but I want a poll of how many people want them to revert to the previous hitting, since all I see are people calling for it to be reverted. I also want to see how many people like hitting now, as I’ve seen some people like it for whatever reason

Put me down for pre patch hitting.
Also, quit making my pitches hang over the middle or just straight up walk the guy because I can’t hit my spots with PERFECT RELEASE.
Get rid of the game controlling momentum swings with errors, errors that are controlled by the game at no fault to myself.
Stop nerfing hits to keep the score where the game wants it.
Stop rewarding garbage hits that start a rally.
Make a non scripted game.
Quit catering to little Billy.

We arent going to get the patch reverted. Sds will just tinker with it until they get to a outcome this is somewhat acceptable.

My guess is they believe, if they just keep quiet, that their customer base will eventually accept the change and stop griping about it. If that is their thought? Good luck.

Got the game just as the last patch was released. As always when the game first comes out, I was reading through TSN to gauge feedback.
Im hearing a lot of complaints about hitting but before I even got the game I saw games that were 25-22, 21-27...I even saw someone put up 30! Now, I DID NOT PLAY prior to this patch so I cant speak on how hitting felt but if yall want consistent 20 run games yall are crazy.

So are you saying they got rid of the mercy rule? Doubt scores could get that high online before a mercy kicked in.

There were some pretty high scoring games throughout the first week, but keep in mind that only a very small percentage of players got to play on anything above all star difficulty. I personally don't remember seeing any games with that high a score, but at least for those games, you were properly rewarded for PCI placement and timing. SDS jumped the gun and made a major change to hitting before anyone really got to try the hitting engine out on HOF or Legend difficulty

So are you saying they got rid of the mercy rule? Doubt scores could get that high online before a mercy kicked in.
Not saying that at all. If you and I play and its 12-7 in the 4th, 15-13 in the 7th, and 21-20 in the ninth no mercy kicks in.

Soooo, your saying they should remove user input/skill so there’s not 20 run games? I thought in video games the whole point of playing was to let your skills determine the outcomes, not a scripted game doing whatever it wants.
They basically already have removed user input so we’re on the right path to the game you want.
