The Show Packs are glitched

After going 0-for since pre-launch night, I was planning to switch the game off just as the servers were going live for the mass launch. I had two packs sitting there from doing conquest so opened them quickly before midnight. Got Arenado, so thankfully not 0-for anymore. Thought seriously about selling because he's over 100K but in the end decided to keep and hope I will get lucky enough to rip him again. I was so stressed about not getting a good pack at all so glad that's out of the way!! With this new prestige system, every card can be improved immediately, so not ripping diamonds early is actually worse luck than maybe it was before?

I have opened just about 50 packs now from conquest, special edition, and packs you earn throughout. In these standard packs I have pulled 0 diamonds and 1 gold. I understand diamonds re roughly 1/50 but golds are supposed to be 1:10. Why on earth have I only gotten 1 gold? This has to be a bug I’ve played the show for years and have never seen this.

Lol it’s a random integer generator in the coding of the game. I know exactly how odds work and I’ve had awful luck.
Doesn't seem so if you think that you should get 1 diamond per 50 packs. I've opened 200 to include TA packs. Got 9 so far to include trout in a TA pack.
Bruh the stupidity in that statement. I’m a software engineer and I’m saying Ik how they work. That is beyond shitty luck Idc what you think. You are just trying to rub it in at this point that you’ve had good luck. Quit assuming what people know and don’t there are people who opened thousands of packs and recorded it last year and consistently over a large sample size the packs were found to have much lower rates than indicated by the random number generator they state they use. It’s not just me, they definitely decreased the pack odds a couple years ago and even more this year in attempts to get more money from people ripping packs that’s all I’m saying.
My dude, with all the legal battles going on both in the US and oversees about micro transactions and posted odds, Sony would have to have some huge berries to intentionally lie about the pack odds, risking their 139 billion dollar company over a few diamond cards. These companies are under a literal microscope right now, with multiple federal governments considering regulating the industry (Some countries already do).
Senate bill 1629 introduced by Senator Hawley, and sponsored by two democrats is still on the senate floor. Because its a bipartisan bill, these companies are doing everything they can to shine their business model in a positive light.
I'm sorry you haven't had luck. I have never won the lottery, but I don't blame the state for rigging the odds.

I've opened 21 packs to far and pulled Scherzer and Strasburg. Scherzer came out of a reward pack, and today bought two single packs. Strasburg in one and ozuna in the other.

I have opened roughly 100 packs through whatever...pulled 3 diamonds. Hader, Chapman, and Hendriks. My LS pen is stacked. lol.

I haven’t pulled a diamond since April 22nd, it’s June 11th.

The diamonds I pulled were Kershaw and Chapman. No packs will work; not team affinity, definitely not standard, I’ve probably opened 40 ballin is a habit packs, I haven’t even gotten a gold in headliners, (only opened like 10 of them).

I don’t know what to tell you. I haven’t bought any packs this year and I’ve pulled Bellnger, deGrom, Hader, Chapman, and Strasburg and Bregman before they were downgraded from free packs.
