What I learned is that people don't know that QS is not taxed. Look at all the buy now prices for 5000 on the new diamonds. Imagine spending all the time and stubs into who you think is going to rise and then toss 500 away per card.

What's even worse is the people mashing sell now for 3k instead of non-tax QS for 5k.

These are the type of people that complain about the game incessantly, there's no helping them.

Sometimes I genuinely wonder if they look at market activity regarding some players and say "yeah he's been going off, but there are so many investments that we'd break the economy if we bump him now"

Without a doubt. Remember Matt Kemp in 17?

Freeman at 23k is much better than 47k. Thank you

Lol, I just paid 42k for him yesterday to finish the NL. So dumb...

Although I did buy deGrom at 196k and he's up to 268k Buy and 259k Sell now as I type this.

This is why the smart guys don't try to outbid on their diamond hunches. They pile on 1000-3000 bids.

No he is saying the he had buy orders in for 3k. Once the roster update hits and a player goes diamond the minimum sell now is 5000 but previous sell orders are still honored at the lower price. Instead of quick selling or listing the diamonds they sold all the cards to him for 2k less and he was able to make about 1500 stubs per card lol

Yeah it was nuts. I put in the orders just before work hoping he’d go Diamond and over the next few days or week they’d sell over time. About 30 min after the update I log in on my phone and all my buy orders for him were filled. I figured ok, he didn’t go Diamond and everyone sold him off. Nope. Easiest 160k profit I’ve ever made! (2k per card since I’m quick selling for 5k and I bought for a few stubs over 3k.)
