no they keep belting HRs with contact swing that is no where near the ball.

Ok it’s quite easy to tell, when the inner pci is covering the entire strike zone, that’s contact swing. But let me guess you are probably one of the people who use it?

I had a dude last night that had a massive PCI against Glavine with Gary Sanchez (30s contact) on HOF. It's not as noticeable on allstar, but it is very easy to tell on HOF and legend

that's actually a glitch, it's just messed up on the feedback for the pitcher and doesn't affect gameplay, most of the time it's just a normal swing.

That glitch only happens on the top of the 1st inning

Everyone still forgets we are in the middle of a pandemic yet. Companies are not fully staffed as they once were. I work for a bigger company and we are very short staffed so I know how this can happen. They also added Xbox to the equation this year which is bringing in more challenges. Instead on complaining about everything try to understand that how things can be fixed do take time. Just enjoy playing the game and if you can’t enjoy it you have the option not to play. Sds are people too and have families and other things going on and can’t cater to one or two people.

No but when i do I dont get homeruns and hof or all star I never use it .
I don’t think it’s broke.watching Altuve last night scoop a low fastball below the knees outside for a homerun and that was probably a contact swing but he just got out in front of it. It happens but not often.
I don’t seem to have any out of the ordinary results using contact on rare occasion power hitters like trout or Ortiz have gone yard but only when they got perfect perfect. The only times I’ve gotten hrs with ball outside pci is when I use power swing.
Tulo from yt makes a video that contact is meta and the whole community has a scapegoat but before 21 every streamer and top tier player say they never used it .
On top of all this, people say hitting is too hard on hof so use contact if it helps you?

First off, yes you can, and secondly - i've done it myself just to confirm. Contact swing gives you a giant PCI covered area and has more power than normal swing - it's broken.

I don’t think it gives more power by itself. It obviously increases the size of the PCI and more importantly it increases the window of getting a Perfect/Perfect which in return gives more power.
My concern with “fixing” it is they aren’t going to know how to do it without nerfing perfect/perfects altogether
