How to get better at hitting Vs. Legend difficulty

Hi, can anyone tell me on how you can hit Vs. legend difficulty. What’s the easiest way to hit? How do you become better?

It's going to be more of a guessing game and less of just pure reaction. Ya know, like real baseball. You're going to have to start "looking" for pitches or "waiting on" pitches. Cheating inside or outside, Starting a little early if you're sitting fastball. Maybe taking into account what kind of hitter you're using i.e. pull or push? Do you even consider what counts you're in for you're approach at the plate?
I'm just asking. I don't know your baseball I.Q but if you're going to play Franchise on the higher levels, you're going to be using average and below average players with small PCIs.Or even pure power guys with small PCIs. You can try solely tracking the ball, but the game isn't designed that way. There's a "guide" under the settings menu when you're in-game. You might get some insight as to how to approach this game.

Just go into practice mode, put it on legend difficulty, and swing at 1,000 pitches.

RS I'm all star because I hover at about 500. I'm oldish, and I guess the stick skills just aren't there. I'm fine with that.
Offline I jump between veteran and all star. I pitch on all star.
HoF and Legend just seem ridiculous to me. The velocity is unreal and the pci is like a fly on the screen...

For franchise I would go HOF hitting and Legend pitching, seems like a perfect realistic balance … As far as hitting on legend, you gotta be very patient, wait for the right pitches, because the CPU will hit the corners and throw a lot of balls baiting you … I find HOF hitting to be a perfect balance, and when you’re pitching have it on legend so the CPU will be tough outs …
