The Online Experience Is Terrible Right Now...

And the community that plays this game makes it even worse with 90% of players trying to take advantage of glitches in the game instead of playing the game the way it's meant to be played. For the last 2 weeks nearly every opponent I've played has decided that bunting, constant running (even when no one would run like man on 2nd and grounder hit to 1st, 1B steps on bag for out, runner continues to try to take home). I beat these fools way more often than not, but it is a miserable experience. I come to play a baseball game. These guys depend on squeeze bunting to try to score. It's pathetic. SDS needs to fix it so someone rarely wins using these tactics. It seems the community at large has decided it's better to try earning cheap wins by bunting and running than swinging the bat. That's not baseball and it stinks for those of us who want to play baseball. I have no respect for those players and they take all the enjoyment out of the game. I don't care if I win or lose. I just want to play a baseball game, not some bunt/run fest that doesn't resemble a real game.

I was thinking about really diving into online play this weekend...I have not played RS or events recently but I can tell you that BR is awful. My opponent got two runs off of pitches that were outside of the zone and he was not even on those pitches. Contact swing is ruining online play.

What rank are you? And is this events, BR, or RS?
I’ve found the lower ranks (below 500) you’re going to run into a ton of guys like this because they just aren’t good enough to win otherwise. Once you get into the 650+ range you’ll still have some dumb dumbs but for the most part people seem to play straight up.
Also, I find it interesting that by far the cheesiest players I play are in events. Makes no sense to me why those event wins are so important to them but events are almost always the most toxic games I play for some reason.

I normally beat these dudes too, I don’t care if they play that way if I’m hitting. They normally rage. They also get mad and write messages to me if I squeeze in a run in the 7th calling me cheesy lololol. If I can’t hit and it’s the end of the game, I will squeeze. But not every time like some of these guys
