I reported the picture to PS Network from his sub account mid game and he was still spamming me after our game ended and the report was submitted. Any way I can get them on the phone or chat to describe the issues?

lol, it's not like they are sitting there waiting n your ticket... they will review it and may do something - you will never know what they do or don't do - at this point just block him.

Cool yeah I get that but that’s not the point. People like this should be banned from playing, period. If he did this to me he did it to many others so if I have a chance to get his banned I will. Thanks for your advice though.

this is the world we live in - just because you are right in theory here, means nothing when it applies to how the real world plays out - the other guy gave you good advice - just limit your msg's to friends - why do you care about what randoms send you anyway?

I’ve actually have good convos with ransoms after good games. Not everyone acts like a child. I like talking about games with other competitors. Why should I have to limit myself because kids can’t handle their L’s right? Seems like a lot of you are cool with letting people get away with the cheap stuff and that’s cool but not me. If I have a chance to report it I will. If you don’t have any advice other than go private that’s cool but I ain’t looking for that. I said I could have blocked him but wanted to get evidence for the report.

Taking an extra step every time you are on base is not "playing the game the right away". You're already given a standard lead. If it's a fast runner or he thinks you will steal, he is within his right to keep you close and part of that could be adjusting the defense. Usually this is more of an issue at first, but there are always arguments on the forum over the extra step and step off the mound. For me, I side with the pitcher in that instance. It's already easy enough to steal without the extra step. Conceding that step is essentially conceding 2nd base, or in this case 3rd.
There are two sides to every story, which is why people shouldn't call out opponents on the forum. For all we know, you were being obnoxious first by constantly taking that extra step. That still wouldn't justify his response of sending you messages, but at least it would give motive. It's better to take the high road. If you believe the messages were out of line, report them and move on with your life.

Lol so every time someone takes a lead it’s okay to stop the game mid AB adjust your defense, unpause, throw a pick off (that doesn’t work) rinse and repeat until I just stop? Also, feel free to send me your social media I’ll send you the entire video of the game. Nothing I did provoked this except he’s ranked #17 overall and needs to do these types of things to stay there. I’ll gladly send you the entire chat as well.

What I'm saying is from his perspective you may have been the one being obnoxious by taking an extra step, which you even admit is difficult to counter since pick offs rarely work, so he was being obnoxious right back.
As far as the video and chat log goes, I don't really need to see it. You posted the situation and I gave my opinion and advice. Turn off messages for non-friends and don't take the extra step if your opponent keeps stepping off or adjusting defense. If you want to talk with an opponent after a good game, just send a friend request. That's always worked out well for me.
If you don't want to take my advice, that's fine with me. It's your call.

You sound like the type of person who bashes a girl for posting a cute delft then blames her for her complaining about guys in her DMs and tells her to turn on her DM’s. That’s pretty sad man. Also, I literally took the extra lead 1 time and it started with him pausing. Then when I DIDNT take the lead he would pause and then push his SS back. So again, how is that MY fault? Sounds like you use tactics like these if I didn’t know any better.

Pause menu for two whole minutes to adjust defense constantly in response? Not so much. Absolutely terrible take. I don't care who agrees with me and who doesn't, but there's a pretty clear divide here between users who want to play a game online and those who enjoy messing with that via unfortunate architecture mechanics (like R2 and pause) that don't really have anything to do with simulating baseball gameplay.

Thanks man, I’ll take the risk. Things like this shouldn’t be swept under the rug. If a DEV wants to reach out I have plenty of evidence to support my claims and we can work out a resolution. The fact that I’m being told I can’t take a lead is dumb. Spam pausing the game to adjust your defense every lead off base or non lead off base (again, he would adjust back when I DIDNT lead) shouldn’t be allowed. Period.

Just report them, I wish there was a more direct thing to do but unfortunately the only options are report them and hope they are taken care of or like others said turn the messages off. Things like message spamming have no place in the game. Also I have to agree with the cause and effect thing, when someone has a fast runner on 1st and they take a step inwill throw over 100 times if they take 100 steps. At second the only chance you have of picking someone off is moving the ss and when you didn't take the step he moves the ss back so they weren't out of position. It's called a counter

I never complained about throw overs. Also the runner was only a 61 overall speed (Odubel Herrera) so tell me what threat does he posses that would cause you to intentionally pause your game for over 2 minutes to adjust and re-adjust your SS up and back? Oh btw it was all with 2 outs and a Righty on Righty matchup.
